I paid extra for the bedding and kitchen kit, they both felt cheap. A few basic things were missing too, which made it more frustrating than it needed to be. The trip itself wasn’t terrible, but for the price, I expected those little details to be handled better. It was one of those experiences that reminded me how much the small comforts can shape the whole stay.

I picked up the car with a full tank and had to bring it back full too, which seemed totally straightforward, actually, I did have to think twice because they didn’t explain it super clearly at the desk. No surprise charges for me though. I’d just say keep your fuel receipt and check the gauge before you drive off

My deposit was refunded in about the expected time, so all good from my side.

Our van broke down out of nowhere, and we were stressed trying to figure out what to do next. We reached out to them, and they got to us really quickly, which was such a relief. They were helpful, easy to deal with, and made the whole situation a lot less frustrating.

To be fair, the van itself was okay and did the job, so I can’t really complain about that part. But the staff were unfriendly and seemed annoyed any time we asked a question. It wasn’t a great way to start the trip, and a little basic helpfulness would have made a big difference

Pickup was really quick, which I appreciated, and the staff were friendly and laid-back. The whole process felt easy overall. That said, it did feel a little rushed, so I wish there had been a bit more attention to detail. Still, not a bad experience.

We rented a camper for a week, and overall it was a good deal for the price. I was in a relaxed, excited mood when we picked it up, so the slightly long check-in was a bit annoying but not a huge issue. The van definitely wasn’t the newest, and a few little things looked worn, but it drove well and had everything we needed for the trip. I’d rent from Indie Campers again.

The camper had the basics covered, it was fine for a short getaway. The bed was okay, and the little kitchen did the job, nothing fancy, but it worked. That said, the fridge was really tiny (so don’t go wild at the grocery store), and a few of the USB plugs didn’t work, which was a bit annoying. Overall, it was good enough for a short trip, but for the price, I expected the amenities to be a little better...

I had reserved one type of camper, but when I got there to pick it up, they told me that one wasn’t available. The dates and all that were still fine, but the van itself wasn’t what I had booked. The staff did try to sort things out and were helpful enough, but it was still frustrating dealing with this at pickup

They were helpful once they got back to me, but it took two days to get a reply. I appreciated the support, I just wish the response had been a bit faster.

A friend recommended it to me, and overall it was easy enough to use. The only thing that bugged me was that a few fees showed up later than I expected, so I’d just say keep an eye on the final total.

The contract details were clear overall, I think. It just took a bit longer to read through than I expected, you know?

The camper was clean and drove fine, so overall we had a good experience. It did have a few scratches here and there and one cabinet handle was loose, but it wasnt a big deal for our trip.

My first impression of Indie Campers was good — pickup was easier than I expected, and the van looked decent and ready to go. Overall, we had a good time and didn’t run into any major issues. The only thing that kept it from being 5 stars for me was the mileage policy. It’s okay, but you definitely have to watch the limit because extra miles can add up quickly. I also wish that part had been a little clearer before booking. Still, it was a smooth experience overall and I’d consider using them again

I can only speak from our experience, but the camper we got was really clean. The seats, little kitchen area, and bedding all looked fresh and tidy, and I didn’t notice any weird smells or sticky spots anywhere. We basically picked it up and were ready to hit the road pretty much right away. It was a nice surprise, to be honest, and based on this trip I’d use Indie Campers again

I booked one van but ended up getting a different one instead. It wasn’t the end of the world, but it was frustrating because I feel like this was totally preventable with better communication ahead of time

Some of the stuff worked fine, but a few things felt worn out. I was a little worried I was getting fooled or talked into something better than it really was, so that made the whole experience feel kind of iffy.

At first, the booking looked like a good deal, but once all the fees and extras got added on, the final price was way higher than expected. I don’t mind paying what something costs, but come on now, just show the real price upfront. It felt a little misleading and made planning the trip more stressful than it needed to be.

We rented a camper from Indie Campers for 8 days in Spain, and overall it was a good experience. The van drove well, started up every morning without any drama, and felt surprisingly comfortable on the longer motorway stretches.
The only annoying thing was a tire pressure warning that popped up twice during the trip. We stopped at a gas station to check it and the pressure seemed fine, so I’m guessing it was probably just a sensor issue. Support did get back to us, though not exactly lightning fast.
That said, the van was solid where it mattered and we still had a great trip. I’d probably rent from them again, but I’d definitely do a quick check of the tires, oil, and lights before leaving the depot. 4 stars from me.
